well I'm not sure where to put this but this will work

while I was cleaning up the rest of the rust on my car and cut the spare tire well out I came accross the rear frame connector that had the majority of the rust left on the whole car. People say that the rear end flexes anyway so I measured the position of the panhard bar upper mount stud and cut the peice out.

I got a peice of 2"x2" 1/8 wall square tubing and drilled the spot for the factory stud and put the factory stud in using an impact tool to draw the stud through the smaller hole. I then cut the peice and welded it into place(kind of hard to suport it and get lined up even w/ an extra set of hands

So over all it weights just about what the stock peice weighs from feel and is stronger. I do not have any road results because I haven't driven this car in 3 years so even when I get the 2.4 back from the machine shop and get it running the whole car is new(suspension, brakes, motor, rear swaybar, poly bushings) so I wouldn't be able to give any feed back anyway

heres a pic, kinda hard to see the stud.
I haven't put the traling arm, swaybar, adj panhard bar on yet.

you can see a pic here
