This is true. It is much more difficult if working with an older cal which doesn't have this identified though. I think Jon may have a file which will tell you the location of what you need to change if you are working on a smec though.

Its in Dcal.

Again, it is if that function has been identified in the cal and is represented in the list. Otherwise, you will need to go old school, find the address, and change it with a hex editor. I'm pretty sure this is why Kevin is asking.

Its in dcal, I turn off mine and a few others, if he has a SMEC.

It's not in D-cal itself. It has been identified by someone kind enough to put the work in to a cal file which we can use. If you have an old file which has not had that value identified, D-cal won't magically tell you where it is. We are very, very fortunate that guys have done this for us. A couple years ago I was cross identifying, hex editing, and then trial and error checking stuff like this with mixed results.

I am assuming most are using the newer stuff, to which it is right in Dcal.

Yes, we are very fortunate to have the cals we have now, and the access to tuning tables is unreal, :hail:

ladybug, smec. what is the table I should be looking for? What do I need to change?

I really don't know which of the lower loss light masks it is. I would try unchecking bit3 in the iplmsk table and see if that does it. If not, perhaps Rob would know.

Have you and Jon tried looking in the documentation file he has?

I honestly don't know which file that is. :( Brian, did you leave some documentation here on your last visit?

Actually, I think you need to use the error bit masks (FLTMSK). But, the bit functions are not ID'd in Ladybug. The masking works differently in T-SMEC (based on the T1 code). I haven't gone thru the '89 T2 code enough to know what bit masks which error code.

Any ideas how I can track this down? This is one of the few things left so I can finish up Jon's cal and get my wideband back. :D

I got it working Kevin, no need to adjust the file. The Power Loss light is officially off and good for knock. :)
