I agree, he better plan doing some work on the --- end of the car too, those things dont hook with a hot n/a smallblock

I like the car/build but i find it funny that in the video the guy is talking about it being a 9 second car on 93, when the car was CLEARLY hooking up on the street from like 40mph. Hmmm... something tells me its not a 9 second car!

120mph traps are pretty nice, but something tells me that guy yelling 9 second car would be flabbergasted if something like Ondonti's 120mph rustbucket plymouth sundance was inching past him :p

Nice car though!

I really doubt that car is a 9 second car.

like Vortecs 14.4 second 98' Honda Civic, it had 271 WHP. This car has a very steep power curve from too big of a turbo. If he put a smaller one on there that would spool fast and make the same power the car would be a lot faster. As for power and so on. Drag shocks, slant 6 bars and a slide a link rear suspension would get it to hook enough with slicks to run 9s. My 2.2 on 3 pistons made more WHP at 4,000 RPM than this engine though.... You can't do that if you want to be quick.

he ran a 12.08 @ 120 on the post with a 140 gph fuel pump  needs more fuel

eh, but at 600 WHP on a A body? That is terrible.....

In a heavy Challenger I ran 12.35 @ 121 with a 440 that had a short block wore .036 over and burning 3 quarts per pass. I was 19 and I had heads on it I ported in HS. I even built my own trans at 19. No where near 600 WHP and now where near the tire or the low weight. I even had a 284 / 484 hydraulic cam... The difference is that I had power EVERYWHERE, there is no peak in that combo. That thing has nearly 800 crank HP and ran a 12.0  Impressive? Kidding? He needs a smaller turbo bad!

no I'm like not enough fuel for what he is running.

Carb fuel pressure is a nice thing as a given pump can flow a lot more @7 psi vs 70 psi for us.

But i dont know what that pump was rated 140gph at.
