Where did you get MP struts? They are NS1. They are a little firmer.

I got them when I bought the car. The guy did mention they were getting hard to find. He also gave me some other parts he said was rare. Have you guys ever heard of a head designed by Hans Herman? He said there was something different about it but I forget what he said it was.

the Hans Hermann head is supposedly the Uber-head for the 2.2. Caroll Shelby has one on 86 GLHS 001

Hans Herman head = original 16 valve head.

Well I was considering the neon head swap over the winter. I have a good neon head and this Hans Herman head which one would perform better?

I know this is the wrong forum, I'm just curious.

Apparently HH also built a 8 valve head that is unmatched for flow by anyone, even the great Steve M, :thumb:

Got pics of the 16 valve HH head?

Well I guess I can take a few pics soon. I have to dig it out of the loft of our old pole barn, but it shouldn't be too hard. Is this head a big deal or something?

No it's not.

It doesn't worth anything.
I'll pay you $100+shipping for it.

Thats more than I'd get out of it for scrap metal, I will pull it out and take some pics of it and see if it's worth anything.

no one wants it silly :thumb: , Sounds to me like this could be some sort of secret head that carroll had made up for a special apperance car

the hans herman head was built as a prototype and never made it to production. VERY rare. In fact I bet no one on this board has even seen one in person. So if your claiming to have one, is it an 8 valve or 16 valve head?

It's not anything special ;) I'll drive up and pay you to haul it away. Does the HH have the cams and pulleys?? If so... It's worth even less.

pix? if its the 8 valve you need to send it to a porting guy so they can scan it and then other porting guys can take alook at the file and port our heads that way.... freaking sweet

I never really thought the head was all that special so I just coated it in white lithium grease and stored it away. I was thinking it was a 16v, but the more I think about it I'm starting to think it is a 8v. Hell I havent even seen the damn thing in almost 2 years!

A little firmer... but mine didn't last for sheet. After 3 years of limited driving, they were bouncy again. Now...they are just plain horrible 8 years later and 30,000 miles on them.

I am getting a lot of interest in this head and even a few serrious offers. Before this goes too far I should let you guys know I don't have the head. I was having a few beers that night and I thought it would be fun to screw around with you guys. There is an older simular thread on the other site and I found it kinda funny and thought I would try it here. I know I have it coming so let the flamming begin!

I *thought* the same thing... but every now and then I find people with a boatload of a post count that are still clueless... so I fell for it.

I do feel better that nobody else is getting it :eyebrows:

In a way I'm kinda glad I did this little hoax. It got me currious about what all the hype was about, so I researched the head and wow!
