Okay gang...here is the deal. Johnny needs 10 people to commit to buying rear coil spring upper isolators before he will make them. To my knowledge there are no longer available from Mopar. if need be to help this along I'll buy 2 sets...so c'mon and help out the community, hobby and our vendor by committing to buy a set.

Quick question, how do you remove these things anyway? I had tried to take them off of my Shelby Lancer when I painted all the chassis parts with POR-15, but they would not come off even after I took the bolts out. Are they welded in or something?

The rear spring isolators are the ONLY chassis wear items on my SL that haven't been replaced with new parts so I'd really like to have them finally.

The insulator (#15) just sits there. The metal mounting cup #16 is held in place with 2 screws.

I've been ready to pay. I think you should collect payments until you have them all. Give it a time frame and if you don't get enough interest just refund the money.

In early 08 I bought a pair of the upper insulators and the axle pivot bushings from the dealer. (This was before I knew about PB) as I knew the day would come when they would be gone forever and I would be needing a pair. as of right now all those parts are still sitting on the shelf and will probably never be used by me. but I'd still like to have a complete set of parts should I ever decide to sell them or use them on a future project.

I voted "yes", I'm in for a set. I've bought a number of things (lower spring isolators, sway bar bushings, rear end bushings, funky rear drag link thingie bushings, clutch cable bushing, front motor mount) and love it all.

I have the mold being made right now. I am making them 1/8" inch less in height
because polyurethane will compress less than the rubber. That way they will not raise
the car too much.
