I'm guessing you were aware of this, but you can get them at Tirerack...I think they are 129 each. FM also sells them as part of a tire and/or slick combo, all mounted and balanced.

Tire Rack is all out and they are discontinued. I might have to give FM a call.

I find it hard to believe myself with as many of them as they have sold.

I did score a set locally though!

I like the K1's a lot, but can't find where to buy them!! The only place I have found is Tirerack, and they are just as bad as the people at autozone. They make you go through that stupid --- vehicle drop down menu crap!

I have found 15x6.5 rota slipstreams for $445 a set though...which isn't bad. Although I think the price of the K1's is better.

edit: The K1's appear to be discontinued on the Kosei website.

I'm not surprised the K1s have been discontinued. The wheel design has been around since before 99. I'm sure they are making room for newer designs.

But I don't have worry. I have two sets of K1s.

Yeah I can't stand TireRack, I couldn't find a way to just search for Wheels according to size.

:( no more K1's :(

Wow, my K1's just shot way up in value.

Shot up? Yes. It would be hard to find a 15x7 wheel that weighs 12 lbs go for $109 each. (I think that's what they were new).

Way up? Probably not. I can get 15x6.5 rotas for $110 and they weigh 12 lbs. The rota is an alternative that isn't as wide, but will still suffice. I havn't looked for 15x7 that were that weight to find out how much they would cost, but I'm guessing not much more than $110.

NOW, if you have a set of the first K1's that were 10 lbs each, then I say you may have something.

Centerline Storm's are 15x7 and around 12/13 lbs. They are forged too, so they're really strong. With a 40mm offset they would work fine. I know a few on here have used them on these cars. Also the TSW Volcano's are 15x7 I believe, not sure on the offset or weight. The Rota's are good looking though and the 11.5 lb weight is near featherlight. I'll probably be getting them when I save enough.

With a +40 offset 7 inch wide wheel you would probably have to run a spacer depending on the tire you go with. The Koseis I ended up getting are that size with a +38 offset and with the 24.5" M&H tire the tops sat right against the strut body. I went with a 5/16" spacer and I can slide my hand between the tire and strut now. A +30 or +32 offset would be about perfect in my mind.

Tirerack got on my nerves too. A few days after I ordered them and thought they were already shipped, I get a phone from them and they tell me its the wrong tire size for the vehicle, and its going to effect gas mileage, driveability and safety, all that BS. From now on, I just pick the size and dont specify my vehicle.

How do you just pick a size at tire rack. I can't find it. If you want any kind of wheel, you have to enter a vehicle and it shows the ones that do fit.

You have to call and tell them what you want. Their online menus suck.
