Just getting a feeler on some new products for next year
Trying to fill the gap and solve some issues with our cars
Were better to start then TIII motor

Would like to get a feel for the interest in a set of TIII Billet Adjustable rockers?
Looking at 7075 Aluminum possible 6061 if needed to be more cost effective
roller bearing like the factory but......
An adjustable metal ball and socket swivel to replace the failure prone plastic cap

Gauging interest at 1st
Get enough people I'll make the prototype
Everybody's happy I'd like a deposit,
and we'll get them machined out soon after

target price about $475/set +/- about 10%
WHO'S ALL IN !!!! :wave1:

Crickey, easy on the hijack Mike:p

(Forest Gump voice "I'm not a smart man...") Not sure I understand what an adjustable rocker on the TIII valvetrain does:confused2: Sure I've adjusted lash on my bro's 302 Mustang, twist em out till they clack, then go back a 1/2 turn. But how does that set last with a button style TIII lifter inside the rocker? 'Splain it for the kids who sat in the back of the class Bruce:o

I've had a few friends breaking rockers
and heard a few having problems with the plastic swivel on the lifter in the rocker breaking
As I'm aware these aren't available or replaceable correct?

we were going to machine a whole new rocker with more strength and
replace the lifter with an adjustable full metal swivel
so now it'll be a mechanical system (but TIII are noisey anyways)

How about some plenum floors for two-piece 8v intakes?

The plastic retainer on the lifter is just for install, it does nothing once its running, unless you float the valves. The new updated lifters have metal caps.

Great idea on a product though, good for reground cams, :thumb:

I am not breaking any so no need for me, yet, plus I have like 5 sets of stockers, ;)

TIII"s are noisey? :o

I might be in. I'm not sure if this is for me though. I do have one TIII head being repaired and it's only missing the rocker gear. I myself have not broken a TIII rocker arm yet, BUT, I have had to replace broken ones on both of my Spirit R/Ts when I bought them. I don't know if the previous owners over revved them or what.

What about a regular hydraulic lifter? Could this be an option? If that is possible, how about using an inexpensive lifter from another application? I am sick of spending $400+ on sets of lifters!

Also, will the new rockers use the stock TIII rocker shafts and hardware?

that's why I hoping to make these, buy them once and done
no spending $100+ on used parts

Yes, direct replacement, haven't heard of any other issues with the above

10 would get it done for sure
6 people and I'd probably be able to talk him into letting me run these off
