Installed the boost gauge. At top boost it "rattles" so I need to take it back and get an Autometer.

Up next install the rad/intercooler, injectors, computer, and AFPR

Can you see it easily? Seems kind of low. Nice fit though.

That's where I'm going to mount a boost/vac gauge, air/fuel ratio gauge and a tach in my parents T&C wagon. That spot is perfect and easily visible.

I had it in the same place on my old one and it is not a bad place I just like it out of the way.

That's a winter project. By the way tell Teri happy belated Birthday. I saw your Dad at Sears in Crawfordsville on Saturday.

I'm not trying to say it's a bad thing, but that is a pretty hard piece of trim to find in good shape. On a side note, other than the T&C wagons the 84 New Yorker also has the same lower trim bezel when it was equiped with the electric fuel door release.

That was my spare. I have the original.:thumb:

Sometimes even Autometer will flutter a little bit. Put a restrictor inline, and it will smooth it out.

Will try that 1st but it actually rattles:confused2:

Do any of you guys have a spare wood plug for the side trim? I need one of the smaller ones, and I have had no luck at all finding one.

I'll look but I think I used the only spare I had on the 85 I bought.

I used to have a whole ziplock bag full of both sizes, but they seem to have gotten lost along the way.

I just finished making a sweet modification to my 85 T&C. It was an analog gauge car from the factory with dummy lights. I can't stand not having gauges to keep an eye on. I found a complete 85 600ES vert at the local U Pull It yard that I got the cluster and complete dash wiring harness. It was a direct bolt in, I only had to add a few wires for the rear wiper control switch.

Cool Ben, that's a great looking cluster, good job with the conversion. The tach really looks cool, and I'd consider using that type of cluster (since my digital example doesn't have a tach), but then I'd lose the digital Traveler that's built into it :(
