hey this is amoparacer Boyd and I went to California Speed way and he ran his car and we both worked all day on shelby 924 10 second upgrade. But alas I didnt make it tech closed but here is Boyds last run of the day.

Not having fixed my shifting problem, I was taking my time with the gears to avoid missing any. Then while shutting down on one of my runs I discovered what the problem was. When I downshifted to first to turn around the shifter stick dropped about an inch (WTF?). It had come loose from the ball and it would pull up when I would grab for second gear, making the throw to the trans so short it wouldn't even grind before hitting the stop. Anyway I fixed it when I got home and took the car to Irwindale Thursday night where I cranked off a 7.38 at 96.97 mph, my best ever. That 12.05 run had a 7.72 1/8 time, so do the math. I guess the car is ok now.:amen:

Update boyd changed his shifter in the Uglyold omni. Went racing at Iriwndale thursday night and pulled 7.35 at 96.8 miles per hour so now he should be back in the 11.50 class on the fullquarter.:bump2::clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:: clap::clap::clap::clap::clap:
