well, +20s are 20% more fuel, so 20% less fuel pressure should be a good place to start.

So 44 roughly is where i want to start or a little higher i would say and go down from there! Sound good thanx for your prompt reply!

what are your current mods? with a good exhaust system, and ported exhaust manny you could probablly leave the pressure alone. I run them at 55psi with a 2.2. T2 setup with the ported exhaust manny and no cat.

thats true. With appropriate mods, most computers can handle the extra volume of the +20s.

I am running it at 55 psi with the vacuum off. I have a 2.5 inch mandrel bent exhaust and no cat.

I'm running two cars with +20s. I have AFPR with them but I run stock pressure. Works great.

The Shelby Lancer is stock TII setup with 3" exhaust and a few other minor things. Omni GLH is '89 2.5 TI, 3" exhuast, NPR intercooler etc..

I seem to recall 35ish psi. 2.5T1's run pig rich with +20's. The computers won't compensate, been there, done that.

a dead stock 2.5T1?

My Omni loves the +20s with stock pressure. It's running 2.5L engine with '89 2.5L TI SMEC.

If I had been running stock injectors and someone swapped in the +20s without telling me, I probably wouldn't even notice the difference except WOT. Same with my Shelby Lancer which is using a stock '87 TII LM. Cold startup is fine, idle is great, and it goes into O2 feedback just the same as before.

Way too low.

Way too low.

That's what I was thinking!

I'm running 50psi static pressure.

I don't have an a/f gauge yet so I haven't lowered it yet. Apparently it's good enough for 19-20psi. Plugs are red as hell.

Can't compare LM's to 89 SMEC's, :)

It might be but as always, best way is go out and WOT it, if the Dawes is yellow, its gold, if not, adjust as necessary but I seem to recall thats what my van liked.

Why not? The original poster didn't state which he was using. I think my experience with the +20s shows that they will work just fine for lots of vehicles out there still using stock cals, even with stock fuel pressure.

I know what car he has. I have run my van on +20's with stock fuel pressure and it wouldn't go into closed loop and the green and purple lights on my Dawes never went out. Also have a friend with a stock 89 Daytona, 2.5 T1, stock everything but +20's, same as me, pig rich. I guess some are luckier than others. I believe 2.2's have enough room in the cal to accept +20's, 2.5L's don't.

It could be the log intake but I would lean it out somemore, your losing power because its too rich.
