Both are lebaron's. My car is an 88 lebaron (in my sig) and the harness i bought was a 89.

Okay, Now im under my dash and im plugging up ever thing and i noticed their is a few extra plugs that seem to have know home. what exactly does my 89 have that my 88 doesnt? i know abs etc and air bag.

Joey

Edit: here are some crappy pictures that i tried taking upside down.

I cant figure out what did connector is for, if you can jelp me that'll be great. This is from under neat the dash. its a two pin connector.

The last plug you posted looks like the female end for cruise control wires...the male connector that goes into it should be running out of the bottom of the steering column...I'm not positive though, pics are kinda tough to decipher.

An 88 daytona harness plugged into my 89 direct as it could get. The unused plugs must be for accessories. I didnt run into that problem because neither vehicle had cruise but the car no longer has a functional air bag ;)

88 daytona and 89 were electronically the same cause 88/89 came with a TII. my lebaron was a TI auto to begin with and now im going to a TII so i've notices and few thing are different. like injector harness, and one of the oil pressure switch's. The side marker lights are different too.

the thing that's getting me is the oil pressure switch (gauge/light) its seems to be a different style like a two plug setup. But im not sure its gauge and light have the same two plug prong one has a single connector like my 88
