Would like to find an 1991 AA body TI automatic engine harness. Currently in the process of swapping a TI drivetrain into a "roller" 1991 Spirit R/T, and I would like to utilize the computer controlled lock-up torque converter.

I do have a 1990 TI AA engine harness that I can trade...heck, I've got a bunch of stuff to trade if need be :thumb:

Ill take that AA harness off your hands please :)

oh you want to use the lock up converter, is that why your not using the 90 one?

I have a 91 AA body turbo harness that I'm not planning on using. I bought it a while back for a plan that fell through. I remember it does have a few weird spots in it, but nothing that should make it unusable. I can take pics tonight if you want. I duno what it would be worth or even what I paid for it. I believe it comes with the SBEC also.

I'm not sure if it has lockup or not tho. I have played with manually activating the lockup tho on my TBI car. I thought lockup was a N/A only thing?

Right, you are correct Sir!

If it's a turbo 91 harness it should have the round plug on it that locks up the torque converter. Yes, pics would be great, especially the spots that you consider weird...I don't have a problem repairing bad areas as long as I have all the correct connectors. Thanks a bunch!

Paul, you should still be able to make that harness work with some parts from a 91 up TBI automatic harness. Only the front sub harness should be different.

Murphy, The first year for turbo cars to recieve the lockup converter was 91. The 3.0L cars did recieve them much earlier in 87 with the 3spd.

Thanks again Ben, today I found that sub harness...pretty easy to grab. Will this plug right into the 90 TI harness? The 91 PCM should already be programmed to run the lock-up...will I have to move some pins around for that feature to work?

Let me do some looking when I get home to confirm my thoughts on the lockup converter. I need to look at my FSMs to make sure the 90 harness you have will work. I was actually talking about the 91 5spd harness that Murph has, but your 90 might work also.
