NMW2006 and i were talking the other day about how there really isn't a good adj cam gear option for the 12v and it got me thinking. Since the 12v and 24v are VERY similar when it comes to the timing belt setup, i was thinking it would be worth looking into using the 24v adj cam gears which are readily available along with the 24v cam belt and crank cog. If this works, it would mean you could get a 24v belt and crank cog and order fidanza cam gears for the 6G7* SOHC 24v motors and graft them onto the 12v.

any input?

Old thread but get ahold of "Ondonti", pretty sure a US supplier makes them.

RPW makes them. IRC there is a US company that will import the RPW gears for you. Ondonti knows the info better..

But you should just order directly from RPW. Tearstone was not a good experience.

Problem with the 24v stuff is the cogs are wider, meaning you won't have room for the harmonic balancer. 24v setups have a ghetto balancer/pulley combo that doesn't actually have a weight on the outside of the rubber strip.
