How big of a pain is it to change front wheel bearings on an 88 sundance and do they need pressed?

PITA, they are a pressed in setup, you need access to a hydraulic press or something similiar. I think others have done them in the car but not me, :o

I wouldn't go at it without a press.

91+ P body is bolt in :hail:

I just had to replace the front wheel bearings on the VW (biggest POS there is) and it uses the same style as the older TM's. Went to a local amish shop and $30 later it was done.

I've got a little homemade press that I made for doing them on early taurus's and 90's fords maybe it will work on these.

Last time I encountered one of those I got a whole spindle from the yard for cheaper than a new bearing.

I'll have to check into that.
