Okay, to start off i've owned my lebaron since i was 15tn years old. I took the car off my uncle hands for free back in april of 2004. But, I hand to rebuild the car from the ground up. Only thing i never had to do was paint, body, and interior was in excellent condition!. The car has everything power excluding power seats. So far this will be my third engine in this car, first being the original engine (motor was toasted when bought it), second motor was a pep boys that ended catastrophically!. BUT NOW! i had this third motor that i picked up for 50 Bucks in NY from a local TM member. it started off as a naked block, But now its a 2.5 CB with forged bottom end w/ wiseco pistons...all bought from TU except the HD rods.... i bought them on Tm for $25 bucks hahaha. ported two piece, ported 782/ ported exhaust manifold. Upgraded super60 turbo w/.63 a/r. was an auto and now its converted to an A-555 w/ 6-puck clutch from TU. converted to 11" inch rotors all the way around. installed a hugh front mount intercooler. Car is now lowered 1" all the way around, did suspension over with kyb/eibach/energy suspension/chassis. converted front head light to H7 bulbs and re-wired head lights for brighter power (awesome).

But here my car stands. i just got the car together in may. i smoothing off the ruff edges and she coming along great. got around to installing the intercooler. things left to do is add a fuse panel box and get rid of the fusible link

enjoy:D

Man I love the old mopars! I've never been in the position financially to own one, but I'm afraid I couldn't settle on just one car...B bodies, C bodies, E bodies...sorta like these turbo cars, they are all cool in their own unique way!

Yeah it's crazy huh? If I would have known back in the 90's where the prices were gonna go, I'd have begged, borrowed, and stole to get the money to buy a Hemi car...oh well.

Sorry to get off on a tangent...again, that's one sweet LeBaron. I bet it gets lots of looks!

Hey is that an escort EXP in the background? Btw, sweet J body! I was waiting for more pics of that car. The cornering lights are kinda nice on not so well lit road at night.

well, its actually an LN7 BUT we also have a 85 ford exp TURBO all original with 80,000 miles in mint shape....BUT coming home from Massachusetts one day the motor let go on it..:(. who ever had the car before us didn't maintain it properly and the car burned oil like a bastid. And the LN7 that is in my sig behind my car is also getting a 1.9 built German spec Turbo engine as well.

Wow, I didn't even know they made a Merc version of the EXP. 6 years of working at a salvage yard and I've never seen an LN7.

Well, i came into a bit of a jam. This past month i put the wrong alternator in my car, not knowing that it was internally regulated it frayed my alternator harness. sooooooooooooo, that being said i decided to upgrade the harness to an 89 setup with a 5spd because my 88 harness had some problems to begin with. so, i bought a 89 harness from a TM member and help me out big time. I got my package, took off all the old loom and tape of and gave it a hot bath. BOY was that the biggest mistake i ever did. Because everything got loose and soft and it lost the formation and wires are all poofed out of the setup. So, now im going threw one wire at a time. im getting their and the harness is in the car but boy what a pain it has become for me.

Just keeping you updated...

would i do it again.....ummmm, hell mother phucking NO!

Update:

well, my car has just been stored for now until i get stuff done. I moved into my new place and it needs some work. Also have stuff to pay off. the lebaron is running nice and strong. It just needs and o-ring for the fuel pressure regulator, brake switch fixing, and gauges worked out a bit and she runs great.

Update: THE NEW BEGINING of casper

well since i'm finally okay on my feet i decided enough was enough, the weather is nice an cool i decided to work on the lebaron. i recently just started working on it... like literally two days ago. I bought a used starter on tm.com and it worked perfect, made a heat shield, threw it on, fixed the oxidized starter terminals and she works so fare. next is brake light switch adjusting, e-brake shoe's, and cleaning up the engine bay.
