why do you need a forged one? steel is lighter = quicker rev:eyebrow:

but what are you looking to spend? I may pull the one out of my TIII and send it your way(been thinking of using the steel one lately:p).

I thought forged and steel were the same and that cast were lighter.:confused2:

If Simon cant break a cast crankshaft in his van then I think a cast would be plenty strong :confused2: .

Maybe add some 4 bolt caps for the center 3 mains to keep everything together :)

If you are running a common block cast is the better choice. Common block engines have 8 lbs of additional structural rigidity built up around the mains. This provides enough strength to reduce crank flex failures in Hi HP applications. Forged cranks are heavier and rob your engine of HP. We wouldn't recommend that crankshaft unless the customer was RoadRacing the vehicle
