03 cummins max boost ?

my dad have a 2003 laramie cummins and for now we have the bullydog instaled , big injectors , bigger fuel pump ,special trans , big exaust , more than 20 000$ in mods and pay 20 000 for the truck :) , the father starting to like going at the truck pulling and didnt do bad ! 4th in street diesel class and 3 in street class, now is running 30 psi , is there more boost available from the stock holset ? 10 more psi would be needed

ya 35 to 40 then the map goes out the window then you just making hot air
you need a bigger waste gate can
if you want real power go compound turbo
just hope you have already upgraded the trans assemble

This is NOT a recomendation....but...I've seen on a gague and a scan tool --69psi when the wastgate was siezed closed. Maps Shmaps! :D

+1 an automatic trans is the limit to boost level unless its built

the trans was modified , what i remember is they did change an input shaft and some other stuff and it cost almost 13 000 just in the trans , what i can tell the truck pull very good this year , need a bit more traction and some more power

well on the bill they didnt write all the stuff and its the other owner who did it at a specialize diesel shop

the truck did a 4 competition in the stock and diesel class and still in the 4 first place each time
