so im having strange cuting out on my '85 lebaron...and i noticed today that while the car was on (not running) the tach said 933 RPM, it is an aftermarket digital tach run from the computer's tach output wire. so my question is, what feeds the computer the reference signal for the tach. if it's the damned HEP (which i think it is) then i believe i know the problem. thanx
