To run the PT lifters in our 8v heads, you need to shim up the lifter as there shorter than the stock lifter. You need to shim it 0.126" or use two shims .063" each. The Pope can get those shims on TD.

Removed the conical springs-too weak.

Could someone who is running the PT lifters please post up the dimensions of the shim/washer they used? I seem to be having a problem finding the right size.

Update, the conicals are good for low boost applications. I will post results when I change them out to stronger springs. Seat pressure is 60, stock is 105. Open are the same, around 160-170 lbs.

3.3 springs are too weak, either run S60 type stockers or use the 955 comp cams LS1 spring.
