87-89 G/J body's are notorious for having faulty gauges. like for instance My RPM gauge died on me and my odometer is not working, oil pressure gauge is off along with temp and fuel. inst their a way these can get repaired to work properly? Like a DIY jobber. i really want my stock rpm/odometer to work other then that i can swap to digital panel type gauges to make it look original

My Daytona the tach stop working also. I re solder the tach driver module and worked fine ever since. As far as the odometer your best bet is a used speedometer head. The other gauges check the connections. Does the gauges move when you turn your headlights on? If so you may have a bad ground.

Well, one way of fixing it is, just swap out the entire dash for a 90+ G/J body dash. Also, there just happens to be one near you for Free.

It has been done before, but not a simple task. Just thought I would throw that out there. :thumb:
