Need Help Identifying two wires

I have removed my carpet from my shelby charger (found out that it already has an aftermarket carpet for a 1986 chrysler laser??!?) and I also found these two wires:

What are they for?? they just seem to be kinda cut off....:yuck: The only thing I can think of is rear defrost (my car doesn't have it)



on a side note, my floor looks pretty good, I have to put new seamer sealer in the wiper tunnel as it is leaking a bit, thats why there is some surface rust, the drivers side was really bad for surface rust but I put some rust remover and primed it a bit so it won't rust too much more be while the car sits to be repaired. There is a lot of burned paint though, it looks like there was no exhaust sheild under there........:( Does anyone know where I can get some replacements???

The carpet is shot as it is really stained and melted from the heat

I think the red wires have something to do with the seat belts. Not sure what the other wire is, I'll try and remember to take a peek at them in my '84, since I have the interior stripped out of it.

I can sell you the heats shields off my '84 too, if you want. It's going to end up as a race car anyway, I won't need them. PM me if you're interested.

If you could take a look to see what that black wire is that would be great:thumb: , why do the seat belts need the red wires???:confused:

If the carpet was aftermarket, could've been from a sound system in the back. I ran my wires under the carpet when I had the seats out.
