Stock T1 Garrett - DP question.

1985 Dodge 600. Stock T1 for now. In the trunk is a 2.5" DP for my T2 conversion. What size of donut will I need to fit the 2.25" SV?

I used a 2.5" when I did it. The donut fits on the DP, so a 2.25" wouldn't work. The SV opening is large enough that it seals and doesn't leak.

I had to dremel out the holes on the DP flange a bit to get them to line up right.....dunno if you knew about that or not. It's not a big deal just something to watch out for.

+1 I used a round file and put the DP flange in a vice, and yes, it will only work with a 2 1/2" donut. By the way, doing this change and removing the cat picked my old log intake up .3 of a second in the 1/8
and the 1/4! It was the first time the '86 Lebaron ran back to back high 14's. (no intercooler)
