View Full Version : Were can I get a gasket for the Turbo to the Manafold?

So I have looked but seems like no one can get me a part number for this gasket. Or is there even one??

there isnt one, most people coat in in wheel bearing grease then put it together, then when it gets hot it seals up

This is what I have always done with good results.

Or use the Permatex hi temp copper RTV.

Chocolate works nice too. Leaves a sweet smell, until it turns to carbon.

Just make sure both surfaces are smooth and bolt the turbo on. No gasket needed. I never used anything, . I never had a leak.

I went to a craft shop where I found some thin copper sheet. I made a pattern with paper, cut out the shape and then used a ball peen hammer to tap the mounting holes and the exhaust opening. I have also had the mating surfaces machined flat, but this is expensive, so once was enough for me.

Maybe you need to find the right shop. I had mine done for 30 bucks.
