A-604 interchange

My Daughter has a 93 3.0 Duster that the A-604 OD trans did the "locked in Limp Home mode" about 8 months ago. I took it to two tranny shops and it was trashed inside. I bought a 90 Voyager with the 3.0 and A-604 for parts. The 93 has no speed sensor on the right axle housing but the 90 does. I know the 93 has Input and output sensors on the front that let the computer know the speed and the puter does the spedometer. What I need to know is will the 90 trans work? Is all I need to do is plug and play? DaveJ

Yep, it will work. Just use the 93 extension housing so you don't have a gaping hole, :thumb:

Wahoo. I will just pull the speed sensor off the 90 and pop the pinion gear off and replace the sensor back in. Now if any one local needs and Mini doors, hood, hatch, luggage rack... If I had the time and space I would just cut a big hole in the firewall, weld up some 12 inch setback engine mounts for the 400/451 and 727 and hang an A body 8 3/4 in the rear. "Look, up in the sky.
