Could be an '88 with an '87 steering wheel or an '87 with a '88 intake manifold

yeah.. you could be right.. but I couldn't imagine anyone putting that steering wheel in an 88... heh but I could be wrong.. who knows eh ;d Regardless that definately looks like a car worth saving.

yeah its got a pretty nice body and interior to it. If no one snatches it up, i'll grab it right before he sends it to the junk yard

UPDATE

I am purchasing the car for $500 so with the tow to my house the total will come to about $600

I am willing to do a quick resale of the car for $700. If no one bite in a week or 2 I will start playing with it and the price goes up with my progress on the car, so get it while its hot!

PM me, or call me 443 799 8384

Sure I will take a running Thing for my project beetle :)

I think if you clean up that Daytona and figure out whats up with it. You may be able to sell it for what you want.

Good luck, let me know if you need anything... Eventhough I am sure you have more parts then, lol.

added seatbelts and some trim pieces, havent figured out the headlights yet...they work they just dont go up or down, redid most of the vac lines, pulled the pan, crank and rod dont look good, ima try sanding the crank and putting in an undersized bearing casue just putting one in now the bearing woln't last 10 min..........
