I know exactly what you mean. Last year I think it was me, Mom's SRT-4 and a first gen Neon were the only ones in our class that wasn't a Honda....and it ended up being like a 11.0 bump or something like that (which took out my Mom)! I looked up at the sky and said "I don't want to lose to a Honda today....." And, no joke, right then in started pouring down rain..... I guess it wasn't my day to lose to a Honduh. LOL.

Good thing is....most Honduh drivers can't make 2 good passes in a row. And/Or they have horrible reaction times. You can make it pretty deep into the eliminations that way.....but still hard to beat 10.0x....

Of course, I really need to watch myself....as last weekend at Mopar Nationals at the same track I red-lit on a bye run, and then red-lit in the final round.... D*mn sportsmen trees are for wussies! LOL

BTW, we didn't get anything for winning at the Mopar Nats... No payout or trophies for the FWD class.... Booo....

Sorry man i only have the one, but i can ask around. And even with the nitrous i thinks were still gonna have a slim chance. Most the quicker hondas are in the 9.80to 10.20 zone, but it depends on who shows.

video of a couple rounds of qualifing and the finals. Like usual there was only 2 non hondas qualified in the feild, James and I. We managed 4th and 5th qualifiers only to line up together in round 1 but James had some turbo seal issues and could not make the call so they gave me the 9th qualifier rather than the bye. Won the first one easy and got beat in the semis by the winner (camo hatchback).

I was up all night putting a new motor together and getting it in the car. first start up on the motor was at 9am, quick street tuning around 10:30ish, then on the trailer and to the track. So needless to say my reaction times took a hit and wasnt fun missing 2nd gear in the semis.

I blew the motor on monday tossed a srt bottom end together along with a newly ported head and wound up having to turn the boost way down. From 30ish to 24psi out of fuel injector big time, went 10.56 at 136

Here’s my results from Import Face Off. I was real happy that Jon and I were the number 4th and 5th qualifiers in the all Honda line up. Both of these qualifying passes were me and Jon running side by side:

After my 2nd pass I had some oil smoke coming from the exhaust. The motor was running fine, so I figured my crankcase evac hoses must have got some puddles in them. Got back to the pits and blew them out. Idled for a long while and the oil smoke never went away (fire truck showed up!). Plugs looked fine….not wet, not too lean. What the? So decided to pull oil feed to turbo….smoke went mostly away. Put oil feed back on…..smokin like a MOTHER! So I guess my SC61 finally bit the dust after 6+ years of racing abuse :o
