Hey guys, i had a quick qeustion, i just recently made a leak tester for all my ic hoses to check if any connections are leaking, my qeustion is, when i hook it all up to test and start pumping the air threw, (i hook it up onto the hose connecting to the compressor side of the turbo..outlet)
Anyways, when i start to pump in the pressure are the pipes suppose to HOLD the 20psi? or, does the TB leak it? Cause when i pump in the air, it will build up, but will slowly leak out threw something above the fuel rail...

Thanks!

Tom

When you test the system, disconnect the t/b and plug it off. The t/b will leak no matter what you do to it.

I would also use a leak down tester to regulate the air flow, that way you don't jam X amount of air in it at once.

I would take a spray bottle full of water, put in a few drops of dish soap, shake it up, then spray all the connections looking for air bubbles to appear. This method works really well!!
