I am switching from a 86 GLHS computer over to a recalibrate 87 CSX computer along with a 3 bar map sensor. I recieved a MSD map from FWD performance. What do I use to plug into the 3 bar map sensor? I know stupid question, but I am not sure. From the plug I would then run the wires into the CSX computer according to the instructions. Thanks guys, chris

You can use a 88-90 stock MAP plug then carefully notch it with a knife to fit or MSD sells the proper 3 bar connector.

you can also extra very carefully remove the notchin the map that is in the wrong spot with a tiny screw driver. It chips off pretty easily by just sliding it around in the hole. A little more risky than notching the $2 JY connector though.

Or just grab any map sensor connector from a saturn.... or any gm car.

Good to know.

+1. I saw the connector on my GF saturn, but I never bothered to check if it was the same or not. Thanks for the confirmation.

guys thanks for the info. FWD Performance sort of left that part out of the directions.

Guys I found a good solution. After BS'n with the guys from NAPA one of them mentioned that he used 3 female plugs to get it done. So I do to Radio Shack and find one's that fit in there like a glove. I just have to pinch in wire and it's done. No one sells just the connector from what I found digging around. Addtionally the junk yards here suck ---. :thumb:

I thought so too. I went to a performance parts shop and they called MSD directly. To my surprise no luck. Go figure
