There will be no difference in the passenger side mount in a 525 or 555 equiped L-body.

yeh well for some reason the mount is all the way over to the left.(passenger)...the two screws barely fit in... i havnt tryed centering with the axles but on my shelby daytona the two screws are directly in the center of the holes in the mount.....i thought the bobble strut bracket was welded in the kframe wrong but after removing the bobble strut the engine still doest move over... its hard to explain... i still would like to see a picture ..

Could be that mount you have is the wrong one... You had that thread asking about it. L's are a shorter mount. You mentioned the bobble strut. With an A555, That should not bolt right in unles you moved the tab.

^ Shouldnt the engine sit over alittle more or am i just making an issue out of it? If it should sit over what do you think could be stopping it?

I had simular problems but never found out why. I did the 555 swap and noticed that my front mount bracket (to the body) needed to be slotted to get things lined up. Of course this put the engine too far to the passenger side also sorta like yours. What's really wierd is when I checked axle end play was the passenger side had 3/4" while the drivers side had only 3/8" (opposite of what I thought would happen). (For some time I thought that the Driveshaft Shop axles was too long on the driverside but verified length to a known good L-body axle (same result). Driveshaft Shop said that was enough (but would make me a shorter version if I had any troubles $$$$ ;) )

FYI I run unequal length axles.

i had this prob when i put in my 523. the prob was i used the wrong trans mount . i had a daytona trans mount and had to use the L body trans mount they are different .changed it out and everything is good now . i think that pass side bracket looks like its off a tona but could be wrong . the nut on mine looks like its closer to the rubber mount .
