I have finally free up some time and have starting on my Ajustible hybrid can gears. They will have 6061 aluminum centers with the original 8 valve cast iron gears (working on getting a gear cutter that can cut up some aluminum ones) Right now I see the price being around $150USD for a set plus a core charge $15USD I really dont want to hit up wreckers for gears). I am also working on t3 and 8valve gears (You t3 guys can thank Turbovanman for the samples)

For the first set, and only the first set, I will sell for $50USD to a member with a running hybrid. Post your pictures and videos of it running.

Pictures of the frist mill operation (back of part) comming when I get home.

These are not in production and still need some R&D
I will Try to finish quickly, withing a few weeks or so.

Thanks Jason.

Well let us know when you are up and running so that we can set you up as a vendor since you can't sell until you do. Feel free to e-mail myself or glhsken.

As someone who made and sold roughly 150 adjustable cam gears for the many varieties of TD's, I'd suggest boring and facing the oem cam gear's ID as the "as cast" dimensions are not totally square and concentric.

Your offsets don't look quite right, either, but that's what prototypes are made for.;)

Here's a couple of pics of what I have done in he past:

For the Update, I'm all wired up and ready to go... minus one small part, I was planning on using the stock tensioner, but it won't work so I've got the Tall deck one on order

Kool. Count me in for later in the year.

That's a lot cheaper than most Adj. gears.
