Exactly as stated, I need a 3.8 V6 58 mm TB, preferrably with the sensors intact.

Nope- as in a 3.8L V6 found in chrysler products.

I'm getting one from my dad (dealership manager with many contacts), and I will see if he can get me 2! :thumb: :eyebrows:

Just to check that everyone knows, but these dont' come with a lip on them. Since it was used in a NA application there was no need for a lip on the TB and you'll need to have one welded on to use it in a boosted app or the hose will just keep blowing off.

My dad (Ford dealership manager) is looking, and also I have a salesman friend at a local parts yard looking. I'll find some! :thumb: ;)

I also have a friend that's a chassis builder that can TIG a lip for us...might all end up costing very little. :eyebrows:

If the welding can't be done it's no big deal, I can tig aluminum at our garage. Thanks again. Just give me a shout, I'm trying to have the car runnign in two weeks here, so we'll see!

Sweet, then if I can't get it welded then you'll get (2) to have done. :thumb:

Dang, you must be running alot of boost to benefit from a 58mm TB.

Stock 11psi. It's about efficiency not high boost levels for me. :thumb:

The word is, it needs to be from a 98 or later 3.8L Town and Country. The vehicle needs to be equipped with the towing package (all T&C's have this) to get the 58. Sounds like a tough find. I just sold my 52 as well... looks like I might need to throw on a BBK 65mm from a Mustang since I have a flange to go from the TD flange to a Ford flange. I just didn't want to shell out the cash quite yet.

Oh- and the "XX TB is a waste if you're on a stock head, bla bla bla" is all BS. Anything helping out volumetric efficiency is going to help overall performance. The only case in which this isn't true is if there is a HUGE restriciton after that point towards the cylinder head, which could be said as a one piece intake neck. That's about it.
