I have an 87 Omni with cali carb engine ( 0-40 in 7.8 seconds) that is getting an engine from an 87 Pacifica ( I have the whole car) . I have sent almost 8 hours trying find this out. How different are the fuel sending units comparing the carbed unit to the turbo unit? I guess I am wondering about the location of the sock is what I am getting at. If I took the carbed sender and put it in a turboed tank, would it be in the correct spot. I have put an electric pump in the tank on my 78 truck when I put throttle body injection on the 440 so converting it over is a concern.

you have a few options. pull a whole tank and sender out of a tbi car or use an inline pump is also another option
