I'm building a fairly stout TIII this winter and feel the need to go with better than used and refurbished rods. I'm thinking about getting a set of brand new TII rods, ARP bolts, polishing and shotpeening them as well. Would cryo treating them be a worthwhile thing to do? From what I understand, it's not really all that cost prohibitive; so I'm keeping it open as an option.
For my HP goals, I plan to max out my T3/T4 hybrid. 425-450 WHP is where I think it will run out of steam. The engine will most likely be a high revver as well, spinning upwards of 6,500+RPM.
