Local yard got rampage in and contacted me about it
Needs lots of work
I've swapped a few shelby front ends on but.......

Are the shelby chargers doors the same?
just switch the glass correct?

Do charger floor pans match up ?

What are the extra braces on the front framerails for?

Anything special extra fender tag labeled "special order grey paint code" ?
Anybody got a picture of the color?

doors I think are the same,and the floor pans are the same up till were the rear seat part comes up.

Doors are identical with the exception of the glass, like you said Bruce. The floor pans, I'm also pretty sure are identical. The extra braces you're talking about, I have no clue on :p Same goes for the fender tag..

Doors are the same.
Front end is different on all 2-door L-bodys between up-to '82 and '83+ at the base of the A-pillars.

If you are talking the two braces near the front of the engine bay on each rail held with a single through bolt, I had read that they were for shipping straps and were supposed to be removed by the dealer. Personally I think they might have been for towing.


Ya gonna get it? Any pics? BTW - a sliding rear window or bedliner are aftermarket and a fairly rare bonus. A two piece plastic tonneau cover was factory. Toppers are still relatively easy to come by. If you do not take the car would you share what they are asking for it?

Believe it or not, the floor pans are the same as the Omni/Horizons (4-door).
