Going by my mods in my sig, do you think I will I pick up any noticeable gains by going from 2.25" to 2.5" swingvalve? Just a curiosity.

Nice...probably going to try to open it up some more with a grinder, then polish it....too bad there's not much material there to work with.

I have no idea to be honest, I just ordered it from a member here and it hasn't arrived yet. That's good to know though. :thumb:

I would do it, the 2.25 piece is tiny, you'll see when you compare them. You can always weld up the outside and grind it out, if you do that, you'll make the donut area up nice and straight. Stock, its like Marilyn Monroe, :eyebrows:

Is there a special way to weld that kind of iron? Curiosity since I may ask someone to do that...

I know you have to use a special rod? and heat up the SV. I don't know specifics but a welder should be able to figure it out.

I have a 2.25 I welded up and started grinding.
My welder @ work told me the specific rod to use and I got it.
Welders call it "missile rod", I don’t recall what the techinical term was.
He said they use it for just that, welding missiles.
I'd gladly sell you the one I started.
PM me if you want it, I can send you pics.
