We moved into a bigger shop, so we've been busy setting up. I've been busy getting the AMC's on the road and keeping the daily drivers driving daily.
So today I wet sanded and buffed the GLH. Now we can paint the flat black trim and put the doors together.
Next it's time for the engine and trans.
Here's a quick photo. I'll take some more tomorrow.

That is the worst photo I have ever seen on this site. There is a horrible glare coming off that entire omni. You may want to get that camera checked out. ;)

i was wondering when we'd see an update on your restoration. looking great, thanks for sharing, and it only makes me want to see more of this car.

r-u gonna finish the engine as a stock T1 configuration?

Looks good Andy! Can't wait to see more of it.

Also, let me know if your still willing to help get my GLHS on the frame rack and pull the 1/4 panel and core support. The car is up in union grove now, but is easy to get at so I could do my best to work with your schedule.

Nice! When doing the black on the door trim it's also a good time to get the area between the taillights. It's not as noticeable on a black car, but it was an area the factory painted matte black.

Also the guys at Omni-potent just started selling new window weatherstripping, the channels and both the inner and outer sweeps. I know I had a tought time finding decent ones for my GLH as most of the factory ones are brittle, torn or cracked.

The flat black is next. I just wanted to get the major buffing work out of the way first.
Nice to see that Omni Potent is making more parts. I guess this means that the GLH is becoming a desirable collector car.
Maybe a Year One catalog will be next...
