rear main seal retainer confused..need pro.

i know. i know...... bag and record what parts go where......i blew it :)

i have 3 diferent motors mixed up .maybe 4......sigh.

have 2 seal retainers....i need the one that will work on 2.2 cb.

1st retainer has round top edge with 4 bolt holes.

2nd retainer has holes same location with bolt holes jutting out ....

haynes says the 4 holes jutting out is cb.........(shows pic).

Hoiles jutting out is the CB. Verified with the one on my stand now.

thursday night i plan on pulling 2.2 stock for cb 2.2 w/a520 w/moly and then the +20's.........

call me crazy but im dropping old motor/tranny on floor swapping heads/tranny and putting new cb and tranny back in through top....

then that self righteous blip on my screen in the pontiac gto will have a fine time blocking me in on the expressway.....he is going to CHEVY his pants.
