Mark's Classic Cruise Night in East Granby, CT is hosting MOPAR NIGHT next Monday July 20th from 5-9PM. All Mopars get parked in a special area up front.

If you haven't made it out to this cruise, it's the largest weekly cruise night in New England. For example, this week was Corvette night which brought more than 200 Vettes to the grounds with more than 860 vehicles total at the cruise. Last week there were more than 920 vehicles on the grounds. This is HUGE! Who's up for a GTG? We can do better than the Corvette Guys.

Mark's Website (http://www.markscruisenight.com/) for Directions. (Near Bradley International Airport) Please note, they don't mention Mopar Night on their website but Mark and the DJ announced it several times during the evening this week.

Gene since you have such a long drive and we are right on top of the show maybe pull over on the access road going into the cruise and wait until you see us, we should arrive at that road about 5:15.

good luck at the Hemmings show Bill take some pix if you can.

Gene: when you see the long white fence, just pull onto the grassy shoulder and watch for us and we will watch for your car.

Dave: you coming w/ the Dart or the GLHT?

Mark - fortunately I live in the 21st century and will be carrying a CELL PHONE (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mobile_phone) (I'm providing a link to a definition of one in case you are not sure what they are :D).

Gene - I'll call you when we get close so you won't have to be staring out your window waiting and guessing.

Dave - if it rains (or if there's even a chance of rain), we only have you to blame - even though it means that most of us will still go and only Mark will stay home. Pretty freakin funny post though :thumb:

the drive over from my house was a blast since i was able to make the trip w/ another 86S, left to right: #126, Jonny B., #215:

http://memimage.cardomain.com/ride_images/1/2531/2382/6326190556_large.jpg

we met up w/ Gene at the gate in his 86S, so we had three Shelbys total:

Jonny set up his display which shows before-and-after pix of the resto of #215, as well as his 11.82 timeslip all of which got a lot of buzz from the spectators:

There were about 900 cars in total at this cruise, about 165 of those were in the all-Mopar show area. Only one other turbo-mopar showed: a black 1986 Shelby Z out of MA (no pix sorry):

What the heck am I doing in that last pic? It looks like I'm about 10 beers into it with my pants falling down and my head slumped over like I'm passed out in the chair!!!!

Man - that must have been a strong Lipton Ice Tea I bought at the concession stand!

yeah it was really cool!!!

we went in nose to tail and a few people were like "WOW three!!! It really felt cool to do that a few of the show guys did a double take

they set up bleachers just in from the gate and everbody sits and watches the cars roll in

Once at the show, i vaporized, there were so many cars to see ( I am new to all of this) I really had a great time seeing soooo many cars.

When I was leaving a guy stopped me and and said he had never seen even one and tonight there were three lined up!! That was really cool to hear.
