On the 3.0... If I take out all the AC stuff, including the A/C compressor mount, do any of the bolts go into a water jacket or oil passage? There are some long bolts that hold the tensioning pulley for the AC belt that go into the block. If I take off the mounting bracket they are too long to go back in (I believe). Obviously I would have to put some washers on them but I would much rather keep them out if possible. There are also some bolts in front of the engine that hold the ac bracket on. I don't want this to end up being a big Oops on my part...lol

I've never had oil or coolant come out when removing the a/c and bracket. I have run an engine with all the covers and stuff off it looking for a belt problem and nothing leaked out. Go for it.
