i'm in the process of fabricating a bracket to attach the daytona throttle cable to a mustang TB.

there are several ways to attach the cable to the TB, but i found one i like best.

only question is, were can i get an end link like this?
fabricating it may not be a problem, but when it's cheap why not ;)

I have the lokar one and it is pretty nice. I am going to use it on a Jeep 4.0 TB.

You can take the clevis end off on the pedal side and just use the ball in it and then it connects up like stock.

They can also be shortened to the exact length you want.

So where can you get the ends like what come on the factory cables? I shortened my throttle cable by sheer will power, but I'd like to have something clean and not wonder when it will break. :) Suggestions?

Ours is basically a throttle stop with a center hole on the TB side.

This place has everything for a full custom cable:

I was going to do it but I got lazy and just bought the braided steel 72" braided steel one because it seemed a little nicer and was perfect for what I need.

Or you can go with a go-cart or aviation shop:

Question Rich, how did you terminate the cable ends? I mean, for the throttle cable, there is a ball on one end where it goes to the pedal and the larger cylindrical end that rest in the lever on the throttle body. Do you just use a vice to clamp the ends on the cable or what?
