Hi All. Was it really over 21 years ago I bought my Charger GLH-S (#995). Or almost the same for my '89 CSX-VNT and '93 IROC/RT? Wow. I feel bad for the current crop of kids looking at affordable hot cars and having to choose from so little, or....gasp....having to turn to the little Japanse cars with the fat tailpipes! I'd like to hear from any other guys who knew the joy of walking into a Shelby Dodge toy store and buying one of the showroom floor! Thanks for offering this site and forum! PS ....I still need a light quartz (silver) VNT INTERCOOLED decal for the driver side bulge of my '90 Dayton Shelby! Must be a NOS piece!

Welcome to the site Gerry.

I was just a few years too late on getting to buy one of these cars brand new. I got out of high school and bought a 93 Dodge Shadow ES for a daily driver. Didn't get the turbo car bug until a few years later when I picked up a used Shelby Charger.

You've got an awesome collection going, remember reading about them a while back in the SDAC newsletter. Still working on trying to get my wife to let me store cars inside the house...

Welcome Gerry.

1985 GLHT, Sante Fe Springs Blue, $10K, 5yr/50,000 wrnty, 5%/5yr note (when rates were north of 10% if you bought anything but a Chrysler) Chose the GLHT over the 5.0 Mustang.

Welcome to the site. I too was too young to pick up one of our cars from the showroom, but I like to hear the stories of those who were able to.

Hi Gerry, you sent me an envelope a few years back with pictures of your collection, thanks again.

If all you other members have never heard about Gerry's nice variety of cars and how they are stored, you are in for a treat!

Welcome to the site!

And since you have the very last IROC R/T built, here's a "for sale" ad for what is apparently the 1st IROC R/T built!

Man Gerry, hope you entered that sig line in your user control panel so you don't have to type it every time;) Next to Shelby's HQ in Vegas I think you are the largest repository of low milage original cars although there are a couple new unregistered numbered cars at Geisswein motors if you are considering adding anymore rooms onto your house:eyebrows: I think you once told me that there is 'a car in every room except the kitchen and the bathroom'

Enjoy your time here and feel free to add some pics anytime you'd like:amen:
