Im looking at a couple Stratus' on craigslist for a 16V swap into my CSX and I found a few cheap with a broken timing belt. Im assuming that they arent interference engines, but I wanted to check and see if anyone knows any different.

Thanks!

2.0 is interference...2.4 N/A may be, but 2.4 turbo is not....

Straight from Dealer Connect.
2000 Status/Breeze/Cirrus 2.4L DOHC 16 Valve (SMPI)

ENGINE
DESCRIPTION
The 2.4 Liter (148 cu. in.) in-line four cylinder engine is a double over head camshaft with hydraulic lifters and four valve per cylinder design. The engine is free-wheeling; meaning it has provisions for piston-to-valve clearance. However valve-to-valve interference can occur, if camshaft are rotated independently.
