So I purchased the KYB strut mounting kit from Cindy. It came with the upper plate, the retainer collar, steering bearing and a rubber washer. The instructions SUCK! I'm not sure if the washer goes between the plate and collar, or between the bearing and plate. Anyone know?

OK...forget about that question....how about this one. I disassembled the drivers side strut this morning and found that it was missing a part that the other side had. It sits between the coil and upper perch. About 5/16" thick and is metal with rubber adheared to it. Should there be one on the driver side? I would think that if only one side was supposed to have it, it would be the driver side, not the passenger side since weight is biased to the driver side. My car (as well as a lot of others) sat 1/4 low on the drivers side. WTF?

Have pics, I know these things pretty good but pics would help me remember.
