fuel tank studs pulling out.

i just replaced the fuel pump and went to bolt down the straps. the studs on the body started to pull out due to rust.

how should i make sure to secure the fuel tank?

drill up into the trunk area and put a bolt and nut..or, you can do what i did after i broke a stud, weld some new studs on there...but you have to be careful with that.
