plug wires

I purchased a set of the magnecore plug wires for my 89 daytona and they do not fit in the stock cap. Is there another cap I need to be able to use these or any modification to install them?

oh and the pillar pod. do I have to screw into my a-pillar to hold this thing on or is one of the factory holes supposed to be used? it doesnt fit quite right.

How don't they fit? Sometimes you need to close the spade terminal together, push through the cap then respread.

yea I did that, but the actual wrap of the wire is too fat to slide all the way down. when you look into the inside of the cap there are grooves for the terminal and rounded notches for the insulation. the insulation/wrap doesnt fit in there and it bottoms out. I think I will just trim some out of the way
