Things on the to do list: ceramic coat header, install OBX, make IC lines, fabricate exhuast. This is just the start! Normally it wouldnt be this pretty but thanks to Adam (supercrackerbox) the bar has been raised:o

PS, thanks again for Ray for letting me borrow a couple of his pics:thumb:

Ive had this motor mount on the car for the past 5 years. Balance shaft is also removed on the 2.5, yes, I know what it feels like, and yes I can live with it:p This car is intented more for the track than the street. I just dont have the heart to gut it completely.

No rust on the pass side, small spot on the drivers. I was waiting for someone to catch that:p Paint job is actually about 9 years old. For as little care as the car has had, its held up pretty darn well. Nothing to get too upset about:)

Could you give a breakdown of that IC pipe routing? That would be awesome.

spoolinhard
03-28-2011, 12:49 PM
Sorry, havent checked this in a while.

It goes from the turbo to pass side of the compartments, and goes down the hole that was formerly for the emissions canister. THere is a hole cut in the front of the lower fender/rad support where it then connects to the IC. It goes out the other side, up through the outside of the wheel well, and back in through the drivers side and into the intake.

Orangetona
03-28-2011, 02:27 PM
Do you need to move the PM for the intake side? Just kinda gauging my options with mine. I'd prefer to not do a ton of cutting but I love the way you ran your intake side.

spoolinhard
03-28-2011, 04:30 PM
I cut the back of the PM off, and put a screen over the open area. It still bolts up in the factory place. I really only cut 3 holes in the car, 2 in the lower fenders/radiator support, and one in the drivers side engine compartment.

I cant figure any other logical way around the PM fitment issue. I am running a cone filter, so I no longer needed it to connect to the factory style airbox.

---------- Post added at 03:29 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:27 PM ----------

I used silicone intake systems elbows/ t bolt clamps and 2 1/2 inch exhuast tubing for the IC lines. SIS makes all sorts of angles and radiuses, you can pretty much do anything that you can dream up.
