we are working on a car "crazy Mark" started and didnt want to finish so we are left with a lot of ends that need finished. One would be the ignition switch, could anyone help me out with the wiring? From what we can see they were using speaker wiring to hook it up, and left a lot of other stuff under the steering wheel go. its an 85 omni glh and they were using a 88 tbi omni harness.

please help, plus i will be also posting pics.

Wow, that sounds like a doozie. If you post some pics I can have a look at what is going on and then perhaps scan some pages out of the 86' FSMs for you. It may not be exact, but it should be pretty darn close.

The two connectors covering the brake pedal in that pic are the ones you are concerned with correct?

I will see what I can do for you.

The farthest left most connector with the four lines looks like it may be the vac stuff for the HVAC box. You can tell because they will be hallow plastic/rubber lines.

yeah the vac lines go to the heater control, along with the brown plug and i guess the white colored plug go to the fan switch? what is the plug all the way down where your foot would rest when not on the clutch pedal, it looks to have for wires. after i get this hooked up will be able to give the car back to the owner who has been waiting over 7 months because of the first guy working on it.

thanks
