I am loving this car so far. I know some call it fugly but I think they look great and are perfect if you have a family of 5 like I do. It is refined and pretty fast stock. Picked it up last Friday. My Spirit r/t is still going to be the beast though running close to 400 whp. I will keep this car mostly stock for a good while. Want to keep my wife happy like she is in the pictures and warranty friendly. Do plan on adding the Mopar stage 1, when available, and probably a intake pipe maybe open the exhaust some but keep fairly quiet.

IIRC SRT's don't have the lifetime warranty.

"No deductible. See dealer for a copy of limited warranty and details.
Non-Transferable. Not available on SRT, Hybrid System components (including transmission), and certain fleet vehicles."

Yeah, been that way since they cane out. Cummins diesel also excluded. I know, I looked at all those options when they started that program ;)

Yes, and from what I understand, not all salespeople are aware of these exclusions, so if a salesman says your SRT vehicle has a warranty, ask for it in writing.

which really doesn't matter, because Mopar isn't going to honor a salesman's word...

Exactly. The salesman that sold my SRT-4 told me I could modify my car and that my warranty would be honored as long as I used only Mopar upgrades. I told him that there was no way he could promise me that.

yeah, they do not have the lifetime power train warranty. I guess they know better than to do that for enthusiasts.

this is what I'm figuring too. A bunch of people on the caliber SRT forums have had the Stage-1 installed, and insist that their warranty is still good... Why does it need to go to a Dodge dealer for flashing, and why do they take your VIN number if the warranty isn't affected?

That is the nicest looking SRT4 I've seen. What color is that?

That would be Inferno Red Pearl. Here's my Suburst Orange Pearl SRT-4.

It's fast enough for this old fart. It's a good thing the seats have such big side bolsters... Keeps my kidneys from ejecting from my body. :)

I love the car... Most comfortable car I've EVER been in, and I'll never own another manual transmission without a bluetooth stereo!

Ditto on the bluetooth. I thought it was kinda gimmicky at first but then you start using it and it's a godsend.

I've seen them in the orange but haven't seen any in that red. For some reason it doesn't look like inferno red in the picture.

My wife's PT GT has the bluetooth and it is convenient, until a good song gets interrupted by a phone call...lol

Well, I bought one _08, black, sunroof, srt option group II, nav., but no kicker (wanted it though) 28,005 sticker paid 21,200 and they gave me a year of free oil changes and lifetime car washes! they DID offer me the lifetime bumper to bumper on it for 2400.00 i reluctantly declined and really should have gotten it because in three months i have 11,000 miles on it already.

WOW. I don't put 11k on my cars in a year...lol

Holy cow. I've had my CSRT for almost that long and I only have about 1600 miles on it. Half of those miles were just getting the car home.

And there was no lifetime bumper-to-bumper warranty...I got the available extended bumper-to-bumper which is 7/70, which added about $2400 to the price.

I picked mine up in May, and I have 2100 on it. If I didn't have to play Taxi for the kids, it would have about 450 on it. Wifes car is really taking a beating on mileage right now. Probably should have kept the Intrepid 'till things settled down a bit.
