View Full Version : Where to get individual parts, not kits?

I'm wondering where, if anywhere, everyone buys individual parts when needed. In my case, I think I might need some new synchros in my transmission, but I am pretty sure the rest of it is fine. Everything I've found is for a rebuild kit, which I don't really want.

Probably not, I might though, will go check my 2 555's and see what I can dig up.

drivetrain.com sells kits and some parts. They are a little bit expensive, but much cheaper than the dealer (not a big challenge, I know). They are all the correct OEM branded parts though (Timken bearings, etc).
