Neon wheels on a Shadow

Im wanting to swap the wheels from my Shadow onto the Neon to give it a little more traction for auto-x. I test fit the wheels and it looks pretty close on hitting the caliper, has anyone else done this without any fitment issues?

Since many have put Pizza wheels on Neons, I'm forced to believe that you could put some crabs or pumpers on there as well.

I see. That I'm not sure about, but I too would be concerned that they will not clear the calipers. If they are the 14" wheels I doubt they will.

What type and size of tire do you have on the 14in wheels? I'd going to say using a neon stock tire size on a shadow is a traction downgrade. The OEM size tire is just to narrow.

I tried autocrossing my Neon on Falken 615 tires in a 14 tire size. My neon handled like crap. I put on one my sets of Kosei K1s with a 205/50R15 Falken 615 tire. My neon went from heavy understeer to netural/oversteer. That was without making changes in tire pressure, konis or rear swaybar.

Im putting the shadow wheels on the neon for the traction upgrade the neon is doing the auto crossing, I just need to know if I can swap the wheels on them so the shadow has something to roll around on.

I think so. I have a set of sports bolted onto my shadow right now, and it has the mini calipers. They were just used to roll it out of the shop, but I dont believe there was a rubbing issue (this was 4+ years ago...)
